One of the highlights of my career is having the opportunity to help family and friends create a unique identity for their personal projects and business ventures. In the summer of 2025, my brother sought my assistance in branding his aircraft brokerage business, Avail. As a captain for a major airline who passionate about aviation, his goal was to have a logo and branding that evokes nostalgia and simplicity, while setting the business apart from its competitors. We ultimately chose a retro striped design with a limited color palette, inspired by airlines like Comair and Pan Am, as well as the design trends of that era.
