In 2023 and 2024, I had the incredible opportunity to collaborate with Backroads Pictures and director Nicole Gormley on the key art for their feature documentary, Searching for Amani. This character-driven coming-of-age narrative unfolds against the backdrop of a climate crisis, following thirteen-year-old aspiring journalist Simon Ali as he delves into the mystery of his father's murder. My contributions included creating two official key art posters and various promotional materials for the film's journey through the global festival circuit. A standout moment was attending the premiere at Tribeca Film Festival in summer 2024, where I had the chance to meet the documentary's subjects in person. Working on this project was truly inspiring and motivated me to seek more art-for-film opportunities.
